The Mount Ashland Ski Area is nestled in the magnificent Siskiyou Mountains, just six miles from the Ashland Meadow House. This Southern Oregon Skiing and Snowboarding Resort is conveniently located close to Ashland Oregon. Mount Ashland has an annual snowfall of over 300 inches; plenty of snow for powder hounds and plenty of sun all winter long. Mount Ashland's ski area has 23 trails in addition to chute skiing in a glacial cirque called the 'bowl'. Mount Ashland, the people, and the City of Ashland make a winning combination. Both the Rogue and Klamath Rivers are easily accessible from Meadow House. Depending on the season and where in the river you get in, both can offer experiences for any skill and thrill level. The Rogue River starts at Crater Lake and twists and turns for over 215 miles before meeting the Pacific at Gold Beach. Check out the Rogue River Loop for a variety of great viewing points and historic sites.
